Life Experiences with Groupon

August 26, 2016 By Callie Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Groupon but all savings and travel plans oh and opinions are entirely my own.

I recently read somewhere, somewhere along my decluttering my entire life process…It’s a long process…I’m still in it….that the fulfillment we have when doing things rather than buying things lasts longer and makes us happier than buying things.

I’ve been on a personal mission. A person mission to collect experiences and Groupon is helping me do just that affordably.

My husband likes to call me a collector. I must admit it I like to have a complete set of well everything. So recently I’ve become a collector of trips! How can Groupon help?

Well….let me tell you….once you’ve picked your next vacation spot go into Groupon and simply change the zip code from your home to the place you’re traveling to and browse.

So for example-we are going to Disney World this fall-I changed the zip code to Orlando and then searched for Disney World in the search engine and bam a Groupon for Disney hotels and Magic Kingdom tours popped up! Saving money and creating memories.

We are also going to California in December….yes I have been flight booking crazy….Groupon pulled a deal for the cupcake place I had in our travel plans! Oh also Hollywood Tours,a Haunted Tour, a Celebrity Homes Tour and Children’s Museum.

Groupon is so great at helping us save money on the things we were already hoping to do.

I can’t wait to collect these memories with our family this Fall as we collect another state off our Fifty Nifty State challenge.

Where are you going???? Get your travel on with Groupon!

5 Ways to Use Your Monkey Mat

August 18, 2016 By Callie Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Monkey Mat. I received a Monkey Mat to review and all thoughts and sparkles are my own.

Have you seen those Monkey Mats? I had been eyeing them and thinking to myself I can totally use that in so many ways. Monkey Mat is a water resistant self storing travel mat if you will that’s machine washable! It folds down into a tiny pouch-which it’s attached too and is super easy to store.

How can you use your Monkey Mat…..well

How about when you are out and about on those long days for kids sports? I know so many people who spend all day at the field with their kids. The Monkey Mat can easily be laid down for littles to play on and for those in between game breaks.

Amusement parks. So if you read my blog you know we love amusement parks. The Monkey Mat folds down inside it’s attached pocket and can easily be stored in a backpack or for us our stroller. Perfect for placing down on wet sidewalks for parades or just to save your spot. We will definitely be doing this.

Beach days! The Monkey Mat also has anchor hooks-sold separately….but I would get them! You can lay the weighted Monkey Mat down on the sand and anchor it with your stakes. What if it got wet-no worries this baby dries up quickly and don’t worry about spills either just throw some water on them and let the Monkey Mat dry.

Outdoor Concerts-we are lucky to have several venues in our area where we can go and sit outside and listen to concerts. The Monkey Mat is lightweight and much easier to carry than a blanket.

A Cover! Monkey Mat should not be placed over heads but guess what it can be placed over…wagons-cover and tie with your anchors in the rain, your stroller, and oh boy I wish we has this on our last vacation, a scooter since the control panel can’t get wet. Wish we has known that while we were on a ride and Grandmas scooter was parked outside and got rained on…not fun, not fun.

monkey

Monkey Mat works for our family and travel needs. I especially love how small and easy to store it is because less is more!

How would you use your Monkey Mat?
