So many fun things are happening at our local zoo. The Houston Zoo runs a wide variety of special events throughout the year and their current event is Dinosaurs alive.

We live in a house of dinosaur lovers-both myself and Row-Dinosaurs ROAR! I put this event on my list but didn’t want to go during the dead heat of summer and the craziness of out of school time.

The Dinosaurs exhibit requires and additional ticket-for members it was $4.95 per person and included unlimited carousel rides. Which was awesome because carousel rides are normally $2. We prepared to see those dinos and ride in circles to our hearts content.

The exhibit was really cool. The dinosaurs were animatronic and they had a large variety as you walked through the exhibit.

Now we are animatronic snobs because we are Disney regulars and these dinos did not disappoint.

There were plenty of babies.

Oh and favorites.

And a grand finale!

This one is not to be missed and has been extended until October 2-make sure you get there.
