Who says no to chocolate? Pretty much no one! Every year Santa gives us candy as part of our holiday treats. I’m always on the lookout for new and different treats.

As a little girl I loved opening my stocking. We always opened our stockings last. It was like one final piece of Christmas to cherish before the moment was over. I’d open my gifts and place them next to me all the while glancing over at my stocking knowing there would be goodies in there. I always received little trinkets and then in the bottom candy and a toothbrush. Random right? Apparently Row gets the same thing too!

Recently I received some chocolates from a company called Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolates because when someone says hey would you like to try our chocolates my answer isn’t no. I was so excited when this came in the mailbox!

A box of their most popular chocolates and a sampling of their candy bars. So I’m pretty much a baking snob and while I will eat chocolate available I’m a candy snob too. My family sat down and mapped out the choices. I always choose a fruit cream like orange or strawberry. Hubs goes for the almond ones, and Grandma likes the caramels. Row takes it, smells it and now a days usually throws it to the side-toddlers!

I must say this chocolate was amazing!!!! This is definitely not your store brand chocolate. It was really good! No one was allowed second pieces-Grandma did manage to swipe the caramel piece. But these babies are mine. This is certainly one of my new favorites!
