This past week/weekend was Go Texan Day here in the great state of Texas. For all you non Texan folk what that means is we celebrate Texas-not the Texans football team but actual Texans. We wear cowgirl wear and dance the square and get ready for Rodeo. It also means the trail riders converge on Houston for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The really cool thing is that actual cow folk ride their horses and cattle and wagons across Texas on the actual roads and camp out along the way until they end up in downtown Houston for the month long event. To celebrate we had Go Texan Day at music. My little cowgirl played the part.
We also had the first in a month long birthday party adventure. I love that now that our kiddos are getting older we are having more and more parties at places instead of homes. It’s fun to see all the party places our area has to offer. This time we went to an inflatable jumpy house place. Row loved it! It’s fun seeing our precious babes grown from 8 months to 3 year olds in our village of Mamas.
This coming week is filled with music, and speech therapy, and another party!!!! Oh and the neighborhood garage sale where I will be shopping my heart out. If Kon Marie didn’t kill it. As you prepare for your week I pray you have a fun filled, stress less, living in every single moment kind of week. Enjoy the bumps and love the ride.
