Can I just start this post by saying it’s literally still in the 90’s in the Houston area. It’s crazy! We Row is a big outdoors person and as a result I’m out there too. She literally wants to be outside everyday which is wonderful. I’m also worried about the affects the sun has on her skin. I noticed this past year when looking for swimsuits and outdoor wear I just couldn’t find many long sleeved options and then I stumbled upon UVSkinz.
UVSkinz is a company with sun protection as it’s main focus. UVSkinz offers a wide variety of cute, colorful and comfortable clothing and swimwear for all ages and their clothing has a UPF-ultraviolet protection factor of 50+. Think about that for a minute….
Check out how cute this get up is?
The clothes went easily on Row-no fussing and they felt really nice. The top was not heavy but rather cool and allowed her to move freely for outdoor play.
How cute is the skirt with built in bloomers-easily fit over her diaper too.
Row was able to be comfortable and play in and out of the water and I knew she was protected. I really appreciate the fact that her UVSkinz outfit can be worn for outdoor play and for swimming. It looks just like a sporty little skirt set and yes we completely ran to the grocery store in this outfit after she played in the water. The top and skirt dried quickly too.
UVSkinz also offer bucket hats that are reversible for outdoor play. Now as a Mama I really appreciate this because apparently retailers only make bucket hats for infants. I’m so glad I found a place that is concerned about protecting Row from the sun as much as I am.
Now I do have to say that while wearing your UVSkinz you still need to apply sunscreen because obviously they don’t cover everything…..but they cover more than anything else and are darn cute. I love the variety of options and the quality of their products.
I may have my eye on a cute sun hat for myself now. Just saying. I mean it’s still 90 in Houston.
Happy Fall Ya’ll! Oh and stay sun safe.
I received products from UVSkinz to review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
