All I Want For Valentine’s

February 6, 2016 By Callie

So if you read my previous post about working in Kon Maring my life then you know I’ve been having a hard time with gift giving since I started. I can generally still think of gifts for people who I know are not purging their house of stuff….and I still love giving gifts!

In this day and age where we create lists for ourselves for everything-guilty. I definitely turn to my bloggy friends out there for help with unique and fitting gifts!

So with that being said….here’s my Valentine’s Gift Giving Guide! Here’s websites for each person I have found and love, and use. I don’t get anything for sharing other than now you know what I love!

For the girls! That me, my friends, your wife, girlfriend, etc….

I have stumbled upon the Marley Lilly site and oh my monogram everything and really affordable. You can get her something nice but not spend every penny you own. Some of my favs…

This took me awhile due to the fact that I found stuff I thought I needed while posting this!!!

Weekend Wrap Up

January 12, 2015 By Callie Leave a Comment

Ahhh another close to another weekend. I’m so over winter and gloomy and rain. I wish it would just snow…ahh snow..

This weekend we got all the Christmas officially out away and started putting up Valentine’s!

All Christmas returns done!

I have to admit I have been actively cleaning and all the kitchen drawers are done…..but only the drawers. I also worked on the second shelf in the pantry and would have done the third but the store was completely out of the wire baskets that matched the others I had used and well it just doesn’t feel right for them to not match. Does anyone else have that neurosis? So project on hold until matching wire baskets can be found. I so hate stopping a project midway through but I’d rather do it right than rush it.

I put up my Valentine’s Day Department 56 houses-yes I have Valentine’s and Easter and Halloween on top of my Christmas ones.

We made a trip to the mall and had some Dr. Popcorn aka crack. It’s so good-sweet butter baby!

I have been scrolling pinterest for our next project and I’m sure you have been too.

Oh and playdough is happening over here-obsessed she is.

Play dough time!!!

This new week marks the first week we will be back to our official routine so my alarm is set for Ibloom and let the craziness begin.

How Do Ya Like Them Goals?

January 7, 2015 By Callie Leave a Comment

How are you new forever ongoing goals coming along????? Have you been organizing and purging your life of the clutter?

Challenge accepted.

I’m happy to report two, yes two kitchen drawers have been gutted, cleaned, purged and reorganized. It’s amazing what you have even in a small drawer that you don’t need. Seems like once you start digging you find all sorts of things!

I also started the pantry. In true teacher fashion I mapped it out-shelf by shelf. It actually really helped. That way I could inventory what we had and buy storage accordingly. I told you I was taking this slow and I meant it. I would much rather take my time and complete it just the way I was hoping rather than rushing through. I was able to complete the top two shelves in our pantry.

I do need a new sugar container and a chalkboard label which I realized after the fact. These items will be purchased next week and then I can move onto the next shelf.

I’m actually loving it. Yes I made every family member including Row come in and bask in the ambiance of it.

I’ve also been working on Valentine’s!!!!! EEEK…too soon?

Oh and I think my darling daughter may have inherited the organization sickness-sorry girlfriend.

Shades of her mama!
