The weekend was a rainy dozy and with tropical storm Bill trying to pay us a visit we may have more days in then out…yikes.

This weekend was one of our little friends birthdays and we were lucky enough to celebrate it Daniel Tiger style. Many of you know about our deep, unending love for all things Daniel Tiger. We are also planning to have Row’s 3rd-yikes birthday be a Daniel Tiger party so we were excited to be invited! Oh and it was also at the Children’s Museum so basically Row was in love.

The Mama-my sister in NKOTB loving, Disney going and trash mag reading girlie, pulled out all the stops. She made the cutest trolley cake stand-which you will see at our party since she says it’s mine-score! There was an amazing Daniel Tiger cake! It was so good!

Basically everything you saw had Daniel Tiger on it.

Row had a blast exploring the museum and I had a workout keeping up with her.

It got me thinking/excited about all the Daniel Tiger possibilities for our upcoming party-eek!

Row didn’t want to leave. She literally lept (is lept a word?) out of the stroller onto the floor trying to go back in.

Now out to get some bread and milk before the storm hits! Hunker down my friends!

Ahhh sadly the weekend is over…time for a wrap up.

We spent most of the weekend inside because it was freezing! Plus hubs got called into work for the week-sad face- so we were making the most of the time at home.

She allowed me to put her hair in a full pony!!!

How many holiday returns did you have???? I stood in line at Toys R Us for a good 45 minutes and the poor lady behind me had an entire cart-an entire cart full of returns-sigh! That poor woman. I actually held her cart so she could take a restroom break during the whole process.

Row throws her cup down like Thor after drinking-I photo journaled that awesomeness.

We spent the weekend catching up on movies during nap time….Brides Maids, World War Z, the Interview. Yes we downloaded it and watched it and you know what it was pretty hilarious!

We colored a lot!

All of our Christmas came down thanks to Grandma….I did some too. It was so sad driving up to the house with no lights. It makes it feel all empty inside. I decided to fill this hurt by placing Valentine’s yard stakes out.

Our garage door bent…which was awesome.

I finished organizing all our dvds!!!! Photos and a post to come!

I actually got one whole shelf in the pantry fully organized the way I wanted and drum roll… two kitchen drawers emptied, cleaned, organized and purged!!!! This whole organize one tiny thing a day is really helping. I’m not overwhelmed but rather excited. It’s true what they say about the clutter holding you back.

Goals for the week-cleaning more of the kitchen!!!! Breaking out the new mini food processor I got for Christmas and celebrating my birthday month in style!!! What did you do this weekend?
